By Robert Palmer Watkins known as his stage name “Palmer” in the music world, is getting ready for the release of his much anticipated new single entitled “Walking Dead” on New Year’s Eve. Set to be one of his best songs yet, Palmer promises to “throw some range” on this song (in other words, we get to REALLY hear his amazing voice more than ever before!). Inspired obviously by his role of playing Lt. Frank Newton in The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Palmer recently shared with us that he shot this video for “Walking Dead” against the back drop and beautiful scenery of Utah.
It’s no surprise that Palmer is a first rate singer whose voice and timing can rival anyone on the planet, being that he grew up in a very musical family with a wide range of influences to be inspired by. Palmer was bitten by the acting bug when he was a kid and as a teenager, he beat out hundreds of other hopefuls for the coveted role of Danny, (John Travolta’s role) in the Barksdale Theater production of Grease. After that heady experience he studied musical theater at Christopher Newport University and then moved to Hollywood where he graduated from the highly esteemed American Musical and Dramatic Academy. We could stop there and say “and the rest is history,” but we’re not going do that because there is plenty more. Palmer plans to give fans even more music in 2022 and we can’t wait!
