By Q. Any specific process you followed while you were composing Infinite Love?
Jiyar: Yes! A simple melody! Then my composer friend made a partiture for it. This was the beginning of the song. After making numerous changes and making my composer friend upset (in a friendly way!) because I requested so many changes we released the song. Of course, there were many drafts of the song and we released the one which we felt sounded good!
Q. How do you achieve a multi-genre and a multi-culture blend of music?
Jiyar: The thing is French is a language of love! The language is automatically musical and I feel my romantic song sounds better when using it! It is strange but my music does not belong to any geographical location, I follow the global ideas in my songs. My music crosses the world boundary and imaginary barricades that we have created around us! Thus my music has a unique blend of love and sentimental affection.
Q. Who are your favorite artists and why?
Jiyar: My favorite artist is Charlie Chaplin! He was not just a cinema actor or comedian, he was also a Philosopher, He was a Prophet. We can see that his movies do not belong to the UK. His movies can bring a smile to anyone around the world and they can change their vision of life too.
Q. If you could collaborate with 3 artists who would they be and why?
Jiyar: Indila from France, Pitbull and James Blunt!
Q. If you could change one thing about the music industry what would it be?
Jiyar: I am against anything that makes music vulgar. In my opinion, music is a holy gift from heaven and we should care about it. Music is very important to each one of us. It helps us in every state of life. Music is the only & powerful way to communicate with people and change their behavior without their control. It should be used in the right way, for example, to show love and peace between people with different languages and skin colors.
Q. In your leisure time whose music do you listen to?
Jiyar: Wow! I get this question a lot. I’m listening to Demis Roussos and also Chris Rea.
Q. Please tell us one favorite quote of yours that always inspires you?
Jiyar: What inspires me is creating a positive environment around me and being motivated & dedicated to my work. And to see that my family is happy. That’s what keeps me going.
Q. Any hints about what kind of music can we expect in your upcoming releases?
Jiyar: I am “JIYAR”, I am a musician who can not be silent when I see innocent people are in a war and need help. My upcoming releases will be my gift to the Ukrainian and also to Russian people. I believe these two nations have a very deep and old friends together and that is Politicians are disturbing the peace and tranquility between them.
About the artist: JIYAR was born on May 4, 1976 in Tabriz-IRAN. He is an actor, singer and songwriter. His first official song “Chargin d’automn” (English: Autumn Grief) was released in Feb-2022.
