By Hirenkumar Darji, better known by his stage name Resolutzen, is an American/Indian Producer and DJ from Burlington, New Jersey. He is best known for his architectural and visionary production of tech house music and is regarded as a pioneer of the future tech-house genre. His newest single called “Send Me a Sign” has been featured on 4 Spotify curated playlists and has been rapidly gaining attention. In just under one week, the single reached over 6k streams and when asked, Resolutzen stated his single is expected to reach his first-ever 10k streams before the end of this week.
During the press conference, I asked Resolutzen what it’s like to be a new emerging artist in today’s world where there is plenty of competition? He replied saying “I don’t see the music industry as a competition”. Stating, “The music industry is just a platform for someone to showcase their talents, and that’s just what I strive to achieve”. When asked what it’s like producing Tech House music and if he’d ever experiment with other sub genres, he replied saying “I love everything about making Tech House music from start to finish. I am currently experimenting with other sub genres, and maybe in the near future I might release new tracks in those sub genres”. He seemed really passionate about music, and stated: “I’ve been around music my whole life and being able to be behind the scenes making music that I grew up to love is a blessing”.
When asked about his future plans, Resolutzen says he hopes to find other artists who are just as passionate as him. He ultimately wishes to be able to collaborate with these other artists saying “great minds think alike”. By having someone collaborate on a track, allows for the opportunity to create something unique. This is what he hopes to achieve and states that he is currently on the search for other emerging artists. After asking questions related to music, I wanted to ask a little bit about himself and what it was like growing up in New Jersey? He said “Growing up and living in New Jersey has been good to me. Besides the insane amount of taxes, the state being close to Philadelphia and New York makes things better. Also, being near the beach and the ocean is a plus”.
We closed up the press conference and in closing remarks, Resolutzen is an artist to keep an eye out for. His music has been rapidly gaining attention and his following count is on the rise. As we know, all artists at one point were just a regular person just like us. Resolutzen is an honest, hardworking and passionate musician from New Jersey hoping to showcase his abilities and “Resolutzenize” the music industry.
