In his new song, Haim shares his pain and dives into how it feels like to live, love and lose on a spiritual level. In the last verse, he adds an optimistic closure to the story and it looks like the song can be a remedy for people who are going through heartache and difficulties in their lives.
The production is subtle and simple yet it’s full in a sense, given that the only instrument playing is an acoustic guitar. The song has a classic old country sound, with a dash of folk. The guitar has a picture perfect sound and the vocal performance is full of emotion.
